Nelton company is happy to announce that together in cooperation with KABE Design & Engineering company it has begun on new Cruise line order for Meyer Werft’s. Companies will provide detail engineering documentation for a new passenger ship for Saga Cruises - Spirit of Discovery. The ship will join line's two existing vessels, Saga Sapphire and Saga Pearl II, though it is believed that the newbuild will replace one of the two.

The ship, with a length of 234 metres, breadth of 31 metres and a tonnage equal to 55.900GT Spirit of Discovery has a capacity of up to 1000 passengers. The ship will operate both "ex-UK" and fly cruises. Spirit of Discovery itineraries will be announced at a later date. The inaugural cruise of the ship is scheduled for 2019 Summer. All staterooms aboard Spirit of Discovery will have balconies. There will be no insides among the approx. 540 cabins, with a choice of standard, deluxe, mid-ship and larger Suites. More than 100 cabins will be specifically designed for solo travellers, which accounts for approximately 20% of ship's capacity.

Nelton is happy to take part in such an interesting project and is ready to face engineering challenges that it will bring.
